Read More...Boast Site Services Ltd have completed the design, manufacture and installation of an upgrade to the typical square sump tank pump arrangement using the industry preferred solution that’s commonly fitted in feed regulating sumps.
The original steel parts are welded in situ and do not facilitate ease of service and replacement. These had to be cut out to enable replacement.
New arrangement incorporates the cast iron suction bend, flexible hose and lined suction pipe to two piece steel pipes with quick release sleeve fitted with Boast SS clamp assemblies.
Read More...Boast Site Services Ltd have completed an upgrade to both the suction/ inlet and discharge/ outlet pipework together with a new motor support to a pit mounted silt pump.
Previously the inlet pipework had the tendency to block due to poor suction arrangement and there was no means to isolate the pump for maintenance. A duty increase also necessitated a larger motor which could not be mounted on the existing support that currently flexed!

Boast Site Services Ltd undertook to design, detail, manufacture, supply, offload and erect a new bespoke compact sand plant for our customer to replace an old bucket wheel dewaterer.
The plant was designed to handle up to 60tph -4.0mm material and produce a single sand fraction with <3% -63 micron.
We included the preferred Linatex lined centrifugal pump, dewatering separator and dewatering screen in our design and all components exposed to the abrasive slurry were Linatex lined for unbeatable wear resistance.
Read More...Boast Site Services Ltd undertook to design, detail, manufacture, supply, offload and erect an upgrade to a customers sand system with a new Linatex lined extended separator and associated overflow tank, pipework and supports. The feed regulating sump was also fitted with a new anti-turbulence ring and adjustable overflow weir plates to ensure no losses of useful sand to waste. The new separator installation eliminated 2 old cyclones, hydrosizer, sump and sand pump from the system which gave both power and operational savings.
Read More...Customer had a failure to a vibrator motor on his dewatering screen. Pressure was on because they were covering production for another of their sites. Boast Site Services quickly arranged mobile crane and site labour to attend site the following day to replace the vibrator so the customer could get up and running.
Read More...BOAST Site Services Ltd carrying out the replacement of gearbox grease seals and O-rings on a McLanahan 38”x35’ Super Mudmaster Log Washer on a sand plant. Lifting completed by our sister company LIFT Limited with a 706 mini crane from their extensive fleet. During the disassembly we found that the gearbox had previously been reconditioned poorly, the grease seals were hammer damaged and the gearbox output flanges had been orientated incorrectly. All was completed to the satisfaction of the customer who was able to operate his plant the following business day.
